AAP founder Arvind Kejriwal has raised the issue of bogus voters before the Delhi elections.Earlier in a sting operation carried out by Aaj Tak TV channel found that polling officials in Delhi and NCR were ready to facilitate bogus voting in exchange for money.
It was found that booth Level officers (BLOs), who are responsible to ensure that no fake votes are cast on the polling day, had accepted on hidden camera that they can provide fake voter ID for as low as Rs.1,000-1,500 per person.
Several lakh bogus voters NOW detected in Varanasi. We urge election commission to check and detect bogus voters before elections.
